These 2 books are suitable for improvers to experienced poker players. If you are relatively new to poker games in general, then this book is not recommended for you at this point in time. There are many other books for beginners.

- The books are very well-written and the examples of poker hands at the end of each chapter are also very informative.
Volume 1
This book covers No Limit games up to medium level in No Limit tournaments. Important concepts such as pot odds, implied odds, betting sequences and more, together with a short number of poker hand examples are included. The main part of the text in the book is about strategy, which should be applied in games with good and excellent poker players. Harrington also provides some good tips on how to adjust your game for weak and average poker players. Harrington spends some time discussing aggressive, super aggressive and conservative games, but the main focus is on the tight aggressive game, which is his preferred playing style.
Volume 2
This part of Harrington’s masterpiece is about the last stages of a poker tournament game. Short-handed situations, heads up situations, and how to play optimally at the final table.
Final comment
Finally, Harrington shows his readers that the poker players that stand out from the crowd have to be brave and must take risks sometimes in order to increase their chances of winning.
